Improving Performance

There is no graphics preset that works for every computer. Start with your current setup and change one setting at a time so you can tell what helped.

Check What Is Slowing Down

Open the FiveM client console with F8. The official FiveM console command reference documents these optional checks:

• cl_drawfps true shows your frame rate.
• cl_drawperf true shows frame rate, ping, packet loss, and CPU and GPU usage.

Run the same route or activity before and after changing a setting. If ping or packet loss is high while frame rate is stable, the issue may be network related rather than graphics related.

Try Graphics Changes

1. Lower demanding settings such as shadows, reflections, grass, and distance scaling.
2. If textures disappear or load slowly, check the Missing Textures guide before raising texture quality.
3. Close unused overlays and applications that may compete for CPU, memory, or GPU time.
4. Update your graphics driver through your GPU manufacturer's official software, then restart FiveM.

You do not need to buy or install a graphics mod to play Everfall. Third-party visual mods can change performance in either direction and may cause compatibility problems.
