Controls | Everfall

These are the server's default keyboard bindings. Your own bindings may differ. To check or change them, open FiveM Settings → Key Bindings → FiveM.

Everyday Controls

Left Alt	Hold to use third-eye targeting; right-click to select a target option.
F1	Open the radial menu.
Home	Open the scoreboard.
M	Open the phone.
F11	Cycle voice range.
F6	Open the emote menu.
Y	Open the clothing menu.
X	Cancel an emote.
F9	Open the job manager.
I	Open HUD settings.
O	Open your getting-started checklist.
J	Put your hands up.
Left Ctrl	Crouch.
B	Point.
L	Toggle chat visibility.
E	Use an available interaction prompt.
K	Sit on a nearby seat or suitable surface while on foot.
Page Up / Page Down	Scroll chat while the chat input is focused.
'	Throw an equipped weapon when that weapon can be thrown.

Some keys do different things in different contexts. K, for example, is the seatbelt key in a vehicle and the sit key on foot.

Phone and Calls

Key	Action
Enter	Answer an incoming call.
Backspace	Decline an incoming call or end a call.
Mouse side button 1	Hold to look around while using the phone or its camera.
Down Arrow	Switch between moving the selfie camera and your character.
Right Shift	Turn your character's head toward the selfie camera.

The last three controls apply while the relevant phone or camera view is open. M opens or closes the phone.

Inventory

Key or shortcut	Action
Tab	Open your inventory, or the nearby inventory when one is in reach.
Caps Lock	Open a secondary inventory, such as a vehicle trunk.
Z	Show or hide the inventory hotbar.
1–5	Use a hotbar slot when hotkeys are enabled.
Right-click	Open an item's context menu.
Alt + left-click	Use an item.
Ctrl + left-click	Move a full stack to the other inventory.
Shift + drag	Split a stack in half.
Ctrl + Shift + left-click	Move half a stack to the other inventory.

The inventory also has a Useful Controls button if you need these shortcuts while it is open.

Vehicle Controls

Key	Action
;	Lock or unlock a nearby vehicle you have access to.
X	Toggle the engine when you have access to the vehicle.
K	Toggle your seatbelt.
U	Set or toggle the speed limiter while driving a supported vehicle.
Left Shift + Left Arrow	Toggle the left indicator.
Left Shift + Right Arrow	Toggle the right indicator.
-	Open the vehicle controls panel.
H	Search for keys while in a vehicle when that action is available.

Turn on both indicators for hazard lights. Nitrous controls only apply when a vehicle has nitrous installed: Left Shift boosts or purges, Left Ctrl switches boost/purge, and Page Up/Page Down changes the level. These keys can overlap with other actions depending on what you are doing.

In supported emergency vehicles, Q toggles the emergency lights, E sounds the horn while held, Left Alt toggles the siren when the lights are on, and R cycles siren tones.

Activity Controls

These keys work only during the named activity. In-game prompts show the available action and your current binding.

/point	Toggle pointing.
/crouch	Toggle crouching.
/toggleChat	Cycle chat visibility.
/sit	Sit on a nearby seat or suitable surface.
/scene [text]	Open the creator for a 3D scene with optional text.
/hidescenes	Toggle the visibility of placed scenes.
/scenedelete	Delete a scene when permitted.

/time	Show the current in-city time.
/clearGPS	Clear a route set by the vehicle locator.

/earcig	Toggle a cigarette behind your ear.
/streamermode	Toggle xSound music playback for streamer mode.

/911 [message]	Send an emergency call.

/vehcontrol	Open the vehicle controls panel.
/shuff	Change seats in a vehicle.

/hall	Open a building's media controls when available.
/ves or /carradio	Open the vehicle entertainment system when available.

Farming Commands

These commands belong to the farming job. The settings menu is available while you are in the farming area.

/farmer	Open the farming settings menu, including performance options.
/farmerinfo	Show which field tasks are currently available.
/farmercancel	Cancel your active farming activities or rentals.

Radio

The radio controls work when you have access to a radio. Some channels and lists are restricted by role.

/r [channel]	Join a radio channel; use /r again to leave it.
/vol [1–100]	Set radio and phone audio volume.

Emergency Services

These commands apply to the relevant emergency-services roles and equipment.

/callsign [name]	Set or clear your primary callsign.
/callsign2 [name]	Set or clear your secondary callsign.
/division [name]	Set or reset your radio division.
/subdivision [name]	Set or clear your radio subdivision.
/lidar	Toggle the LIDAR display when using LIDAR equipment.
/lidar:show	Show the LIDAR reading to a nearby player.
/lidar:move	Move or scale the LIDAR display.

The LIDAR display also has a default period (.) keybind. Emergency-services players can open the MDT with =, toggle the dispatch overlay with ] or its compact view with [, and toggle the overlay cursor with F7. When the overlay is open, G responds or sets a waypoint and J locates the current item.

Police radar has its own defaults when the vehicle supports it:

Numpad 9 / 6	Lock or unlock the front or rear plate reader.

L is also the global chat visibility key. If two mapped actions conflict for you, change one in FiveM Settings → Key Bindings → FiveM.
